Program Highlights

Pranayama techniques are powerful practices, and they can regulate and modify different aspects of the breath (the rate, depth, or adding a period of breath-holding). 

They have a direct effect on physiological functions such as oxygen consumption and surface body temperature. 

In seven sessions, the mentors from ACT Yoga School share pranayama practices and relaxation techniques.

Key Pranayama Techniques
Throughout this program, you will learn and practice various pranayama techniques, including:

  1. Deep Breathing: Fundamental breathing technique to relax and center the mind.
  2. Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing): Balances the nervous system and harmonizes the flow of prana.
  3. Bhramari (Bee Breath): Reduces mental agitation and stress.
  4. Kapalabhati (Skull Shining Breath): Energizes the body and clears the mind.
  5. Anulom Vilom: A simpler form of alternate nostril breathing that enhances mental clarity and calmness.
  6. Sheetali:Practiced by inhaling cool air through a folded tongue 
  7. Shitkari:practiced by inhaling air through the sides of the mouth through closed teeth
